In this project, we delivered a complete wood debarking production line to a client in Kazakhstan for log debarking and continuous conveying.

The client processes raw logs but previously relied on manual labor, which caused low efficiency and high costs. They needed a more automated and stable log debarker capable of handling different log sizes.

After discussion and solution optimization, we provided a full production line covering log feeding, conveying, debarking, and bark discharge, enabling continuous and fully automated operation.

Solution design highlights

1. Integrated, continuous workflow design

The entire production line features seamless automation—from log feeding and debarking to final discharge, minimizing manual intervention and significantly boosting overall operational efficiency.

2. Adaptability to various log sizes

The SL-320 log debarker machine is capable of processing logs ranging from 7 to 28 cm in diameter, accommodating diverse raw material sources and maximizing equipment utilization.

3. Automated bark collection

Waste bark is centrally collected and processed via a dedicated conveyor system; customers can then utilize the bark as fuel or for other purposes, thereby further enhancing resource utilization efficiency.

Customer feedback

Since the log debarker machine was put into operation, the client has reported excellent overall performance:

  • Peeling efficiency has significantly improved.
  • Manual labor requirements have been substantially reduced.
  • Production workflows have become smoother.
  • On-site management is now more orderly.

Through this upgrade, the client has successfully transitioned from semi-manual production to a continuous, automated production process.

Log specifications and production requirements vary significantly across different regions, necessitating equipment configurations that are specifically tailored to individual needs.
